Sublime, genuine Pakistani and North Indian dishes prepared by chefs imported from these regions. In a rather smart hotel, in the centre of town, this large, airy restaurant has the look of a typical upmaket Indian restaurant, with chrome and glass tables, maroon tablecloths and napkins and smiling Indian waiters with white aprons. Try chicken per bhai with ginger, garlic, cardamom, turmeric, coriander and chilli, or fish masala with white zeera, methi, curry leaves and a hint of tamarind. A favourite is the prawn green masalawala with mint, ginger, garlic, yoghurt and coconut. There is a range of outstanding vegetarian dishes and authentic tandoori dishes, Indian breads and the best Indian ice-creams you'll ever taste.
