Constructed in 1861 by William H. Kelley, one of Mendocino's founding fathers, this house is an example of balloon construction in which the vertical studs in the walls run from the floor to the roof. The Kelley House and Gardens is a beautiful historic location for special events and it has hosted many memorable occasions.
