The owner of this place - Stash Pruszynski - is something of a local celebrity. The delicious Pierogis (dumplings) are made by two Polish ladies who roll them out from dawn to dusk. Photographs - many of them signed - of stars of stage and screen adorn the walls. There are also several newspaper articles (in English) on display. There are two separate rooms, each with a slightly different ambiance. The interior is decorated with a pleasant, time-worn elegance. It is the sort of place where you can feel tradition and history all around you and is definitely well worth a visit.

The menu here consists of traditional home-style Polish dishes. It is all very tasty and the prices are reasonable. The pierogis here could be considered among the best in town. There is a small but imaginative wine list and a fully stocked bar.
