Seagar's Prime Steaks & Seafood's steaks are truly a cut above. By serving only USDA prime, the highest designation of the eight grades given to beef by the U.S. government, we know we can exceed the highest expectations for a fine-dining experience. Our menu includes filet mignon, rib eye, porterhouse, New York strip, and steak Diane (prepared table side), with a variety of preparations, including au poivre, topped with Maytag blue cheese and bacon and Oscar or Rossini style. Our steaks are accompanied by fresh seafood dishes influenced by international and seasonal selections, as well as the abundance of beautiful fish and shellfish in our Gulf waters. Seagar's Prime Steaks & Seafood offerings included the Emerald Coast seafood martini, tuna tartare, live Maine lobster, Dover sole, Childean sea bass and blackened tuna. Seagar's reopened February 5, 2013 debuting fresh, sophisticated new decor. The renovation transformed all areas of the restaurant including an updated lounge and bar area, additional private dining space, and a new entrance. The Seagar's menu has also been enhanced, preserving the guest favorites Seagar's Prime Steaks & Seafood is known for, while adding enticing new items. A spectacular private-invitation event offered a select few the chance to sample Seagar's fare and get a sneak preview of the changes which included a new fire feature in the lounge. The ribbon was cut and toasts were made as guests enjoyed the lovely new entrance, complete with water feature, while savoring the great wine Seagar's Prime Steaks & Seafood is renowned for and delectable hand passed hors d'oeuvres. Guests were then invited to tour the restaurant and view the new features while treated to signature cocktails, wine, and piano music.
