When Gypsy Cab Company opened its doors in 1983, a new cuisine was introduced to the world--urban cuisine. It's little of a lot of things , says Ned Pollack, chef-owner of Gypsy Cab Company, where cab fare (the menu) draws on multiple influences including Italian, German, Cajun, Mediterranean, classical European, Souther, Oriental, and Floribbean. Gypsy Cab Company, always a favorite with locals, has a reputation as being a casual restaurant with diner friendliness.
