In the 1930s Earle R. Milner decreed that his hotels would provide clean and comfortable lodging for USD1 per night. At Detroit's Milner Hotel the prices are higher now, but the rooms are still clean and comfortable. The hotel's downtown location provides easy access to such Detroit attractions as Cobo Hall, Joe Louis Arena , the casinos and Greektown. This is the cheapest hotel option available downtown, and there is nothing fancy about the place.
