The Lilium is a comfortable hotel that has recently been restructured. The equipments and furniture are completely renewed. All rooms are furnished with private baths, air-conditioning, mini bars, satellite TVs, private safes, hairdryers, fans, and DSL Internet connection plug with laptop is provided. In April 2003 issue of the National Geographic Magazine, on page 59, one can read the owner of Lilium Annibale Batossi is an abstract painter with exuberant and sere eye for interior decor. Opened in September 2002, the hotel occupied on-floor of a 1924 building on a busy street. Australian songbirds welcomes guests to the lobby and serene blue hallways lead to high ceiling rooms with painted armoires and color-coordinated with the sheets. Everything in the sunny place is nicely up-to-date. Firm mattresses, air-conditioning in every room, and well-conceived bathrooms are available. The best six rooms have terraces filled with small plant and bathrooms are half with tubs and half with showers. All have bidet. The hotel offers breakfast in a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is situated in the historical center of Rome in an antique building, a short distance from the famous Via Veneto and Villa Borghese as well as the main railway station Termini. It is very well connected to any tourist attraction, which can be reached within a few minutes, Spanish Steps 10 minutes by feet, Trevis Fountain 15 minutes by feet, Colosseum and the ancient Vestigias five minutes by bus, Vatican City 15 minutes by bus.
