Built in the 1850s by the son of William C. Claiborne, the first American governor of Louisiana, this hotel is located in Faubourg Marigney, adjacent to the French Quarter. The Greek revival mansion is now owned by Cleo Pelleteri, who also had it restored. Rooms are furnished in elegant contemporary style with crystal chandeliers that hang from high ceilings that hauntingly reflect off the polished hardwood floors. Vases of fresh flowers create the perfect "at home" feeling. Who would not enjoy a beautiful marble bath! There are voice mail and fax services available for guests' convenience as well as a small meeting room.
