Open in summer only, these popular and inexpensive cabins along the Merced River have a great view of Half Dome and Yosemite Falls. Staying here is much like camping, except with walls. There are no telephones or televisions, but there is an outdoor barbecue pit. Each has a privacy fence and a canvas roof. Each cabin features a double bed and two single cots. The cooking and dining areas have tables, bear-proof food cupboards, electric outlets and lights. Bathe in the shower house with complementary soap and towels. Shared restrooms, laundry and a general store are nearby.
