Downtown Halifaxs historic boutique hotel. The newly renovated Halliburton House Inn features upscale-inn accommodations and maritime hospitality in a trio of heritage townhouses. The Inns popular dining room Stories offers east-coast seafood and game in four intimate adjoining dining rooms. In the summer months guests may enjoy cocktails and light fare in the garden courtyard. In the autumn and winter a crackling fire invites from the cozy library. Built in 1809 and was home to Sir Brenton Halliburton, the first Chief Justice of the Nova Scotia Supreme Court. More recently, the building housed Dalhousie Universitys prestigious law school.
