The Farnam family's contribution to the development of Yale is well-known. This guest house was initially the Farnams' residence, which was sold out to its current owners. Most of the old charm has been retained and promises a homely experience. The breakfast room is an area that revives nostalgia while gazing at the fine Victorian antiques and china. The Whitman room has a fireplace and books against one of the walls that formerly served as a study to Henry W. Farnam Jr. The over-sized rooms are designed for comfort, and are well equipped with modern facilities, yet maintaining the coziness of a home.
