Set sail on ‘Wolf of Wall Street' yacht for $125K a week

Leonardo DiCaprio wasn't the only star in "The Wolf of Wall Street." A yacht by the name of Lady M also played a key role.

Would-be moguls can re-enact parts of the movie by chartering the luxury boat for a cool $125,000 a week.

The Lady M rental price gets you a ship that is "fully crewed," Lara-Jo Houghting, the yacht's charter manager at Churchill Yacht Partners, told Yahoo. And with a staff of seven for a maximum number of 10 guests, that's not a bad ratio for a 147-foot superyacht.

The A-lister of ships offers posh amenities like a Jacuzzi, a cocktail bar, and custom Italian marble flooring.

In the movie, the luxurious boat is prominently displayed as a symbol of the obscene wealth of the infamous real-life stockbroker Jordan Belfort, played by DiCaprio. Belfort buys the ship as a gift to his second wife, and it becomes the site of over-the-top parties and a target of an FBI investigation.

Lady M is enjoying her 15 minutes of fame. "It's been global," Houghting told Yahoo, speaking of the attention that comes with being in an Oscar-nominated film. "We were happy with the exposure in the movie. Lady M was revealed in quite a few scenes."

Of course, the Lady M isn't the only ship to set sail on the silver screen. If you're more of a James Bond fan, check out the stately Regina, which was featured in 2012's "Skyfall." Yours to rent for $96,000 a week, according to CNN.

Don't mind if your boat appeared in movie that wasn't exactly a classic? Consider the boat featured in the movie "Striptease," starring Demi Moore and Burt Reynolds. The scene-stealer of a yacht, the Big Eagle, is equipped for 12 guests and 10 crew members, and it has a hefty $165,000-per-week price tag, CNN notes.

Although the cost of a charter from the movies will set you back some major cash — just to sail in a boat where movie stars once stood — it's a fraction of the cost of ownership. The Lady M is also for sale for $10,900,000, according to Houghting. Paging Jordan Belfort…
