Weekend Vacations

We left work on Friday at 3:00 pm. After a couple of quick stops we were on the road by quarter of four. Traffic wasn't *too* bad on the way there. Our trusty GPS had us find the hotel with no problems. We picked hit hotel because it was within walking distance of the boardwalk and downtown, it was cheap and it allowed us to have our dog with us. I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of it. So last weekend my husband told me he had a trip planned for my birthday weekend and he wanted to surprise me but he also didn't want me to get my hopes up as if we would be going to Vegas or a theme park or something like that. Okay so we left for our long weekend Friday about 3:00 pm we drove to shepardsville KY , we did find a travel coupon book at the Ky welcome center and found a hotel for $35 a night Super 8 no pool but was very pleased with the overall cleaniness of the room and lobby/ dining room for the average continetal breakfast, Can't complain.
