We went to the Farmer's Market as it is right next door to the CBS Studio where we went for the Price is Right taping (it's where we wound up parking). They have fresh fruit stands, fresh meat market, souviner shopping, etc. We went to one stand that sold smoothies made from the fresh fruit right there on the stand. It was great. Definately have to go back when in the area again.

Instead of the La Brea Tar Pits we opted to go to the very first taping of the Price is Right with Drew Carey hosting. Drew was so nice to the whole audience. He cracked jokes and let some people come up and give him a hug. He also signed autographs on shirts for people who had made shirts for the show. Get your tickets early on-line and make sure to show up EARLY. Plan on it being an all day thing.
