This place was awesome, great for families, realy suite with large living room with TV and full kitchenette, large bedroom with another TV, great breakfast buffet, nice enough pool (my 7 year loved it!) easy to get to, and basically a free light dinner with beer and wine at night!! I will always stay at this chain when I can

Very nice zoo although we have bronx zoo 20 minutes away so hard to get too excited, panda was cool. Very hard to get around, very hilly and winding, hoped to go in and see a few things then leave to do more but got stuck there for hours but I would recommend it

at 7 my son was on the young side for this but it would be perfect for a young dare devil (ie: opposite my son). so he was not a speed demon but loved it just the same as did my "big" boy, the hubby, they raced several times, I was nervous about my son but they were very nice to him and even tho he was a slow poke, others on the track were patient when they held him up and such. Fun break from the sightseeing.

Notes
way too much to do, highlighted things to do and hardly did any, great place for vacation, kind of expensive and hard to park in the city which is annoying but overall such a pretty place with lots to do, we stayed outside the city and found getting around to be a breeze. Highlights of the trip for us were Legoland, the panda at the zoo and the great hotel which we really loved, very family friendly place.

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with this it was just ok for us and was time consuming and expensive, it didnt' help that it was more indland and thus much hotter, we did not realize this and were a little over dressed. Some nice things to see but none of us were too impressed.

by far the best thing to do in san Diego fun for the whole family although it is aimed at kids 6-12 I would think but we all loved it, plan to spend the whole day. Best items: family firetruck race, miniture cities and generally how very nice and clean it is. A 5 star must do

We chose San Diego as we wanted a warm weather destination without going to Florida and we didn't have passports, so California it was. My son was the perfect age (7)to enjoy Legoland and San Diego has the only one in the US so that really was what brought us there. There is much much more to do of course and excluding travel days we only had 4 days there and it was not nearly enough time so will have to go back one day but not any time soon, too many other places in the world to see. Next up: Universal in Florida and then onto to Grand Canyon Arizona.........
