I've been there for a week to attend an international symposium. There was a field trip to traditional village in North Nagoya, which produce a knit cloth and traditional wooden souvenir. Building / machiya house rows with paper/shoji windows known as latice windows, which apparently in the mean time to be functioned as local artist workshop. For me, it was very interesting, and kind of it bring me back to 16-17th century....
