I am unsure of the travel times between the cities chosen. I know the roads are not so good. Should we rent a 4 wd vehicle or just one with a high clearance? We plan to return to Alajuela on the last night before we fly home. We would like to see Volcan Poas & La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Monteverde & Santa Elena Reserves, Carara National Park & Manuel Antonio National Park. Is this too ambitious?
