Dubai and The Maldives

Trip looks good. Under Maldives, you should put a to do of snorkeling with sharks. Lisa and I were snorkeling and saw some sharks...very cool.

Under Dubai, you should also have Ski Dubai, Gold Souk, See Palm Island and The World which can be done from Burj Al Arab.

You should also see the Bastakiya area in Dubai (this is where my office is located)- it is the last bit of real culture and heritage remaining in Dubai. It's beautiful and has a lot of local cafe's and galleries. It's also close to the museum which is worth checking out, and near Dubai Creek and an abra ride (which is a must do)! You guys will have a blast while you're here!! We can't wait! xx Lisa

Thanks for the advice Sheik Perry (both of you). I've added your recommendations. Any specific beaches that I should add? How about restaurants or clubs? Let me know when you have a second.

I saw that you added Vu's. Nice place to have a drink after having Sushi or Tempanyaki at Tokyo@thetowers (also in Emirates Towers).

There is no beach that should be added as I will work to get you in to Jumeirah Beach Hotel's beach and Madinat Jumeirah. A tour of Madinat and some shopping at the souk should also be added. Madinat is part of our resort, and right next door to Wild Wadi.

Trilogy is a club there that we will most likely hit on Thursday evening, and the Wasabi prawns at Zheng He Restaurant in Madinat are not to be missed (the Black Pepper Beef is also a favorite).

Chris - Thanks for the dinner suggestions. I will totally make us reservations at Tokyo@thetowers for that evening. Can you & Lisa join us that evening? Do people eat late there? I know I will need a nap most days - so I'm guessing we won't be going out for dinner until around 8ish at the earliest.

Also, any lunch ideas for when we are touring around the mosque/souks/creek?

I've also read that Pieces is good for dinner. Thoughts?

We were talking this weekend how we leave for vacation in 4 weeks! We can't wait.
