Anderson's Restaurant-Bar was a pioneer in this type of establishment. In addition to a restaurant that opens very early in the morning, there is also a bar that stays open until the early hours. The menu includes American prime-rib cuts, grilled seafood, traditional spicy chicken wings and a large variety of prepared beverages, including national liquors and imported wines. The decor has a Tex-Mex feel and the entertainers keep the party going with games, free drinks, confetti, balloons, charro (wide-brimmed) hats and anything else they can imagine for the patrons. Make the most of its original transportation: a bus completely covered in paintings of frogs. The bus picks you up at your hotel and takes you to Sr. Frog's, which is very convenient, as taxis in Cancún are quite pricey.

Yet another option for enjoying the Caribbean is this pleasant fishing village with unspoiled beaches and where the landscape remains intact. There are also some rustic restaurants with a traditional menu in the surrounding area. Transportation to the village operates between 9am-6pm.

Isla Contoy, one of the beauties of nature, has been preserved as a huge ecological reserve. It is surrounded by mangroves, where the flora and fauna are zealously protected by the Mexican authorities. An expedition to this island is a must for nature lovers or adventurous spirits. Enjoy the waters in a small boat, watching wildlife in its natural habitat. You will be surrounded by monkeys, birds, small mammals and fish.
