Guayaquil is a busy Port located South east of Quito, Guayaquil is the largest Ecuadorean city, this Port has become the Second tourist attraction after the Galapagos Islands, as a matter of fact Guayaquil offers the most non stop conection from and to the Galapagos Islands, here you can find so many attractions like the majestic Malecon 2.000 (A beautiful pathways almost 2 kms or 1.5 miles) surrounded by gardens and even an Imax theater, is big plus.

We just came from Guayaquil, and let me tell You we had a blast. We visit the renovated malecon 2.000 then we walked around the pathways and enjoy the beautiful gardens, we took the double decker's tour bus, we booked 3 tours avail ables for the day and we went on the weekend to Salinas's stayed at Barcelo's hotel right on the beach beautiful place and enjoy the nice "Ceviche" local Shrimp's cocktails fresh seafood is available. We certainly go back in the fall '08 like we planned. Enjoy your visit at Guayaquil..!!!
