Reply to wweazer 73. We stayed at the Caribe Hilton. It was first class all the way. If you desire a hotel with a casino present, you might strongly consider the Marriott.

I am planning to visit San Juan in August 2007. Does anyone have any input regarding this season of my visit? What hotel do you recommend? What other areas of interest would you recommend? I could use so good solid advice. Thanks!

We spent six glorious days in San Juan. We spent most of our time just walking around Old San Juan. The most exciting part of the trip was a guided tour of the El Yunque Rain Forest. This was scheduled by the concierge.
