First Trip of 2007

A trip from January 07, 2007 to January 13, 2007
when I filled out my vacation bid last November for this … More  
when I filled out my vacation bid last November for this year, I didn't want a January vacation. Yet it seems I'm stuck with one. So I'm going to have a friend from Chicago meet me in San Francisco. We'll spend a couple of days there, then head back to his place. I'll hang out in Chicago for a couple of more days then head back home.

Day one of getting ideas. Still not sure what hotel I'm going to stay in in San Francisco, or what I want to do that I haven't done before...

At least when I get to Chicago I have a friend that I can stay with. That always makes planning easier.

Since it is winter in Chicago, anyone have any advice on things to do?

I've only visited Chicago in the summer, so I'm at a lost on what to do that won't involve freezing my rear off.
