It was an okay casino like any other I guess....the only difference was that it had many floors..around 5 or 6 I think...but each floor was pretty small so it wasn't that it was a big casino...more tall I guess. But really nice from outside...we couldn't take pictures though because they've closed down all the exits to outside except to get into the parking lot.

This was beautiful...Since we went in the winter we didn't really get a chance to walk around old Montreal...we tried for a while but it was soo cold especially being close to the port..so we checked it out by driving through it slowly and stopping at all the interesting places...we went pretty late at night so not much traffic and everything was nicely lite up. I want to definately go back in the summer and check out all the nice shops and restaurants there.

This was one of the lowest points of Montreal. I was actually pretty excited about going to the Planetarium since I had never been to a real one....but I was sadly disappointed....it basically consists of a circular structure with 'exhibits' on the walls...most of which is common knowledge and nothing really ground breaking...they say they have some demonstrations but I wasn't really impressed by it.

This was actually the highlight of my trip...I am not much into churches...but I was very surprised by how much I loved it. There's a hallway full of candles one can light, it looked so peaceful and happy. I don't know the religious significances of most of what I saw, but they were beautiful. If you go there don't forget to turn around in the upstairs basillica area and check out the organ.

And if you go in the summer you can enjoy La Rounde...which seems to be a little Theme Park on the same island as the sphere. BTW...remember not to mix up the Biospehere with the BioDome like I did....thats why I missed it:(

All in all the trip was pretty good. I wasn't that impressed with new Montreal...it just seems to me like any other big city....There were some disappointments, like the Planetarium, and since I was going in winter many of the places were closed, but after 'walking' through old Montreal you'll forget all the disappointments and really enjoy everything.
