We are travelling from malaga spain to the south of france. Probably end of Jan 2007/early Feb. Do not have any need to rush the experience. Would like to stop over just before madrid(not centre). Then possibly to Burgos.and then just before santander/bilbao(not centre). After that our next port of call will be somewhere around the charente region. Prefer comfortable hotels with restaurant/parking facilities. Not overpriced.
We will be making a short 7 day trip to Madrid and Burgos, the end of June 07. We have not ever been to Spain, do you have any good ideas for us? We are not young people, aged 60, and like to see the country side and out of the way places. We are not shoppers. Thanks so much. Vanita.
