i thought that we,americans, could not visit cuba..i know of people going there from mexico and canada but i am concerned about the passport thing and getting back..whats the deal on that???

no one cares.
just don`t use american credit cards or money and you will do fine.
this is NOT A DEMCARTIC COUNTRY. so crime is zero ......only theft like anywhere. As a pearson you are safer in Cuba than in the USA OR canada

Cuba is a very Sad Place,,after tipping the maid $20.00 she informed us that if she did not give it to her Supervisor she would be fired. When asked what her boss would do with the money, she looked around and then whispered "spend it".

We were told that the Average monthly salary was only $22.00 a Month and that everyone was Forced to Steal to feed their Children.

I have been to Cuba twelve times and not once have I had any problems with hotel staff or the local people. They are all very kind and sincere, they receive food stamps. Be careful renting a car the police will stop rental cars for no reason. Cuba is sad but maybe we should look at own country and the homeless in Canada.

I Love Cuba, I went there last year, really y felt safe there. People are very kind. They don t steall!!!! please don t said that! they do the possible to survive but they don t steal,I left my digital camera in a bag on the beach..and I found it again..after 4 hours.
I loveeeeee youuuuuu CUBA and CUBANSSSSSSS.... :-)
