The Quarter View doesn't open until 4:00pm. I added the quarter view for a one day trip. Audubon Zoo and then the Quarter note. If I were to plan on staying the night, I would eat at the Quarter View or The Gumbo shop. Not both.

I stayed in this hotel on 4/14/07. The hotel is very nice. The employees at the front desk were very nice. The valet guys were also very polite. The king bed room I had was very nice and clean. It was small but it didn’t mater because I spent very little time in the room.

The hotel is located in a great area. The French Quarter, River Walk, Aquarium, Imax and the casino are all in walking distance form the hotel. We felt very safe waling at night, the area has lots of lights so we were never in the dark.

The hotel rooms are away from the street so there was not noise from the street. The continental breakfast was also nice.

Everything went as planed! We were pleasantly surprised at the room. Very nice!! The trolley shop had still not opened for business yet was the only thing that didn’t go as planed.

Had a wonderful time at the zoo. We enjoyed the show at the Imax and Aquarium had a lot of things to see and do.

This was a very good trip. We plan to go back several times during 07’.

We went to the French Quarter Festival the weekend of 4/13/07. We went to the festival Saturday, spent the night Saturday night and left Sunday. We had a nice time. We stayed in the Country Inn Suites and like it better than the Royal St. Charles. It was closer to the attractions and had lights down the street. We felt safe because we were never in the dark. The room was small but because we never spent much time it the room it was okay. The front desk employees and valet guys were very nice and polite.

I would stay in either hotel but would rather the Country Inn.

Just a note, if you’re looking at my trips for ideas. Because I live an hour out of NO, I have a lot of things listed but not scheduled. As I do or go to those places I leave notes in the note section. The things I didn’t get to do, I don’t leave a note. I hope that helps you in planning your trip.
