manila bay is beautiful at sunrise and sunset. at night the restaurants open on the bay and the food is delicious. fortress corregidor is at the other end of the bay, approximately 26 miles by boat. i reccomend a visit there, lots of history there.

tagaytay is probably 25 miles away. i have been there a few times also. lake taal is very beautiful. a volcano sits in the middle of it. another place to visit in tagaytay is the enchanted kingdom. lots like disneyland but with a filipino twist. lots cheaper too.

when you're looking for a place to party around here, there's a hot place in Fort Bonifacio Taguig called the EMBASSY, and anothe one called RJ located at The Peninsula, Manila located in Makati City, they never run out of beautiful people ;)....lol

"MUST" places to go......FARM OF SAN BENITO for the total retreat and holistic spa resort, Kabayan Beach Resort, both in Batangas, SONYA'S GARDEN in Cavite, AMANPULO in Palawan....and you'll swear not to leave the country anymore.

I recommend Boracay as a romantic, peaceful & relaxing escape from the busy buzz of Manila. The breathtaking aqua ocean combined with the friendliness of people around you makes this beautiful island a paradise. I would go there again on my next trip to the Philippines. MABUHAY!

Tagaytay is one of the best city in the philippines, they call it little baguio , its closer to manila you dont have to travel that far,but of course there's my favorite buko pie the best in tagaytay.

Tagaytay is one of the best getaway to visit, i always remember the day when we got there with a cold and foggy weather welcomed us along the strip of Aguinaldo Hway which even gives us zero visibility. What a great romantic haven for couple! I promise you will never wanted to go back in Manila.
