Well I live very close to Daytona and it is beautiful the only thing is it is expensive around the 4th. Where are you coming from?? That will decide if you want to drive or not it is beautiful here. Let me know if you need help with anything.

I am planning an orlando trip for july. I would like to spend one day on the beach/coast maybe a boat ride. I was thinking daytona because it seems to be close but not set on that. My 2 questions are what would be the best 1 day trip to the beach option. Second, whats the best way to travel there. We do not plan on renting a car for the trip but it could be an option for a day.
