You know, I expected a bit more. I can totally tell that this part of town contained deep history; but, does not extend it to anyone who doesn't look hard enough.

The divide between rich and poor becomes evident here. After you get over this fact, I am sure it becomes less un-nerving. We forced ourselves to scour the area for a couple of hours determined to find something of interest...after a while, we were able to find a nice strip for an authentic meal and super good dessert.

It comes with great sadness that I missed this for the second time! This time, I can blame it on the nookie. =)

Apparently, across the way, on the beach, is a super large handmade sand castle. This was the original intent. Made by some homeless gentleman and embossed by the city of Miami for display.

So when we arrived, apparently there was a exclusive Halloween party. Needless to say, I wasn't getting in anytime soon unless that Ford S7 or two Lamborgini's in front was mine.

I eventually grabbed my GF and another hottie and crashed the party! Drinks was 20 bucks a piece! Nice place. Very, very chill atmosphere...beds lined out, pool, good people - wish I can say the same for Denver!

This is top notch period. Quality of food is spectacular. I enjoyed Orlando much more than Miami.
Dinner for two including wine came up to 140.00. 20% gratuity included. I am excited to have this restaurant arrive to Denver, Colorado.

** Hint. If you arrive at 14:30; you will be charged for lunch - but all the meats, salad bar, and amenities remain the same. This worked well the second time, so you can burn off the calories as you paint the city red!

* NOTE: Do not fall for the Valet service at this hotel. Even though nice, its just a 2 minute walk from the Bank of America parking garage. Valet uses the same garage but charges you 25.00 USD nightly.

This is a nice hotel. The rooms are quite accomodating. Art is very modern. Miami is currently under construction, so if you are the type to have your loft balcony doors open while you sleep, be prepared to hear construction early as you rise. Given our recent trip to NYC, this was a welcoming sound!
