I have been given a week...where is the best hotel and things to do

I have a week of vacation and i've been wanting to swim with the dolphins where do i go?

You can swim with the dolphins at Xel-ha.
As well you can snorkel there and there are lots of places to eat if you go with the tour as I did.(food was just ok)
It was about $75 for the day but did include a stop at Tulum which is absolutely beautiful.(All meals and drinks in, but take bottled water for bus ride, walk to beach and around ruins)
Stayed at the Flamingo right on the beach at Cancun.
Nice room, good food, and the Flamenco dancers were phenominal. Close to airport as well.
'Be sure' to book your evening reservations for supper on the beach deck. You have to.
A day trip to Isla Mujeres on a catamaran was fun,(started at $70, walked around near downtown and found lots of offers to go. Got it for $45 meals and drinks incl)) but never made it to the North end of the island which is supposed to be nice. Did get to swim with a sand shark there though and snorkel.
Out of Dallas, you should be able to find a good price around $500 all inclusive for 7 days.(add taxes)
'Barter for everything', secure the price even before you get in a cab.
Even though they say you do not have to tip, I would say it is suggested. Much better service.

ITS A WONDERFULL PLACE,YOU CAN REALY SWING IN THE OCEAN IN "PLAYA DEL CARMEN",PLEASE INCLUDE 4 NIGHTS IN ISLA ..... DRIVE A MOTORCICLE IN THAT ISLAND, DONT FORGET TO TASTE THE BROCHETA'S FISH...VISIT THE MAYAN`S MUSEO IN "CHETUMAL" QUINTANA ROO,TRY IN "MERIDA" THE MERIDIAN'S FOOD; DONT FORGET TO SPEND TWO DAYS IN XEL-HA. ....EVERYTHING IS WONDERFULL. PLEASE INVITE A MEXICAN TO DRIVE FOR YOU AN SPEND A COMPLET MONTH IN EACH STATE QUINTANA ROO,YUCATAN & TABASCO.

Two weeks ago, I went to an adult all-inclusive Resort in Playa Del Carmen called The Royal Hideaway...it is the best resort I have ever been to in Mexico..the service and food were excellent....I have stayed in Cancun at three of the Palace Resorts and enjoyed them, but The Royal Hideaway is the best so far....but it is more laid back than your "party" resorts so to speak, but a wonderful vacation.

I love Cancun. You must stay at the Riu Cancun. The staff are so professional and very warm. The food is great. The hotel is so clean and very beautiful. I have stayed there on 4 of 6 trips to Cancun over the years. You must go to this cool night club called Coco Bongo. It was amazing and reminded me of the clubs in Las Vegas.
