Expenses vary depending on the time of year you plan on traveling - we went October-November. The average hotel night was $300/night for doubles including breakfast and the flight were approx $700/ticket. We used our Delta frequent flier miles and avoided this expense. Daily expenses include food and admission to museums/etc - I would plan on approximately $100/per person/per day.
hi I'm planning my honeymoon to Amsterdam & Belgium for the first 2 weeks of this November. But I wasn't sure if it is going to be too cold. I see you went at a similar time last year, what did you think? I am also sad to miss out on seeing the tulips in Amsterdam but we would beat the crowds and save alittle on money. Would you go again at this time of year or is it better to wait for the spring?
The weather is chilly and damp. Be prepared for rain. If it's a once in a lifetime trip, I would hold enough until the tulips are in bloom and the weather is a little more pleasant. We had to buy a hat and gloves on the trip
