Family's First

As we were late and out from our scheduled plan, we stopped at the newly opened KFC on the first floor. We bought lunch - "Ta Pau" (take away) the Variety Bucket. Can eat lunch in our chalet.

Reached the lobby and tried to look exhausted and pityful. tried to asked for a nearer chalet as we travelling with 2 young kids here. It didn't work!! The Reception staff smiled and told us the chalet is not that far and we can always use their shuttle service ....
Our chalet no. was 3210, not near but not too far either from the lobby.
The chalet interior was acceptable (after reading so many negative reviews). One thing to complain was the shower piping was leaking so all of us have to bath in the tub or to scoop the water with the mug.
Noticed white-ant mud tunnel near the window frame??! Tried not to worry too much here ... relax ....
We were quite worry on the 2nd night when strong wind blew and the trees swaying away. One particular tree was swaying in a hole on the side of our chalet's roof. so we can feel the tree hitting our chalet each time it sways!
The Buffet Breakfast was so so, for RM42 per pax. We ate for free since our holiday package included breakfast and my kids were under 4 years old.
The Shuttle Service Bus was very efficient! Can catch it within minutes after you called for the service. Can beat our Mini Bus which was very famous in KL back then.
Th staff were very friendly.

A very nice place to see the sunset and took a lot of photos.
Car Parking is free.
Bought mineral water for RM1 per bottle.
Most of the shop/stalls were closed due to Ramadhan Fasting Month.

First thing, surveyed the price of the liquor. Was fascinated by the mini-sized liquor with a special stand - RM50. Would be a nice piece to decorate my living room ....
Thought to shop around to compare the price ... but later found out. it was the only shop that sell it with the stand, other shop only sell the mini-bottle liquoar only. Should have bought it ...hmm... :(
No mini bottles of perfume available that catch my eyes.
Bought some T-shirts, RM5 each for adult size ones and RM4.50 for children size ones.
Rained very heavily, so walked the whole shopping arcade.

Was so worried that we were lost. But I was thinking how could we get lost? the worst we could do was to turn back.
Kept on looking for road signboard, but the signboard was very small and not very helpful.
My hubby had to turn on the car's head lights when it was too dark.
Luckily no cows/bulls roaming that night!
When we reached the Padang Mahsirat, we were relieved.
got back to our chalet and went to bed at 9.50pm!

More food this morning, maybe due to it was a Saturday morning = more guests on weekend.
Staff was polite enough to remind us that the buffet breakfast will end at 10.30 am.

We were shocked to see the cable car's route was quite steep from the 1st station to the 2nd station. The peak was not so bad.
We did not take the cable car.
Maybe next time ....

They have The Zon Duty-Free(a branch)here but lesser choice. No mini-bottle liquor. Same price.
