Guayaquil is a beautiful town, the mayor and its co-worker had transformed this city into a beautiful tourist destination, for visitors like me, who were attonished to see how a good work can certainly transform the whole town.
Guayaquil has a lot of places to see and visit. Check at your front desk were most of the tours are availables, or try the nearest hotel like we did, Hilton Colon excellent, we like the Sheraton, the Howard Johnson, Hamptons and Oro Verde. Our conections to the Galapagos piece of cake no problem everything was ready for us, they just opened the NEW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT which makes things a lot easier.
We just came back it was awesome, we liked the stairs up to the Santa Ana Hill, the pathways on the MALECON 2000 very impressive, did not know Ecuador was so deveolpe and very urban, like most of the US Cities and someplaces in Europe as well.
The hilton hotel beautiful, I will recommend that to anyone is an amazing hotel and the service is a top notch.
