Notes
The Nugget is a nice hotel, with usually good service. They have shows in the Celebrity Showroom, and their restaurants are pretty good, as well--except for Rosie's. Big casino area, and a pretty nice arcade for the kids, or for adults who like pinball machines. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are huge!

Notes
Great Mexican food, but go on a weeknight or early on Friday and Saturday. Bertha Miranda still works in the kitchen to ensure quality control. Try the beans that aren't refried--they are delicious. Best looking waiters in town!

Going to Reno in the late spring gets you good weather and still features snow on the mountaintops. Going in the early fall means bare mountains, but all the roads will be passable.
Stay close to the casinos or public places at night in Sparks and Reno. There are a lot of panhandlers around. Daytime is safer, but it pays to be watchful.
