I would fly into Istanbul and spend several days shopping in the markets and eating local foods. Then off to the western Mediterranean coast to Antalya to stay at a local seaside cottage. Diving in Marmaris, walking the Lycian footpath and soaking up the sun. Then off to Cappadocia to see the rock formations and a balloon trip across the fairy chimneys.
