Wow, thanks for sharing! I couldn't find, or perhaps did not undertsnad your notes on Zermatt/the Matterhorn. I've hiked to the Hornli Hut which is located approximately 1/3 of the distance up the mountain from the north/Swiss-side, and spent the night. It was an amazing experience!! The Hut was struck by lightning during dinner and blew many of the fuses off the walls as well as eliminaing the power for the night. At least I was safe during the storm sleeping in the communal wooden racks within the Hut, as opposed to the Korean summit-team who went-off to have thier night's sleep in tents. I've heard that sometimes amatuers attempt the full climb to the top of the mountain often with disasteruous outcomes.

I was in Heiligenblut in May of 06, and in Zermatt, May of 06. Seen the Matterhorn, beautiful. Stayed in Heiligenblut for a couple nights, these pictures brings back memories. Will be going back, in Sept of 09, can't wait............great pictures, thanks for sharing.
