12 day family vacation beginning with flight to Salt Lake … More  
12 day family vacation beginning with flight to Salt Lake City. First 3 nights to be spent at Bear Hollow Village Resort, Park City, UT. Then 2 nights at Little America hotel in Salt Lake City. Finally lodging at Steamboat Springs, CO. In addition to checking in/out and sleeping, driving & outdoor activities to be scheduled. Also viewing of local sights and eating/drinking of local foods/drinks also to be determined at a later time (I'm on vacation).

Should the family go where it's really hot (not a preference) or somewhat hot. In other words, go south in Utah, or to the mountains of Utah or Wyoming?

Thinking of Jackson, WY as a final destination, perhaps via King's Peak (for a day hike).

Any suggestions regarding crowds in Grand Tetons? or other places in southern/northern parts of western Wyoming?

If I were in my right mind I'd stay home and play video games, but can't resist the thrill of spending too much in the zealous pursuit of stereotypical recreation (as seen on TV--especially car ads).
