I was in Oceanside for my nephew's wedding. We spent 7 days in a lovely condo with an ocean view. The weather was a little cooler than we expected for early October, but it made walking the beach every day a refreshing experience. The town seems to be going through some expansion/construction in several areas and we also noticed some areas that seemed to be be depressed. All in all, I would recommend the area as the beach was beautiful and walking along the coastline is an experience not to be missed. It was also easy to get to San Diego and the attractions there from
the Oceanside area. I just wish it had been a 2 week vacation instead of 1 week!!!
