I was in London this summer and absolutely loved it! I was there with a large group of friends and we had a great time seeing all the sites. There were many things on that list that we didn't get done as we were in 10 other countries as well, but the things I did see in London were great and I will definately go back when I get a chance. If you can, GO! But don't limit yourself to only London, travel to as many places as you can, it will be the best experience you will ever have.
I went to London last year in October and it was awesome. I visited a lot of places on the list for the trip mentioned above. Everything was super especially Harrods, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and London Bridge. And the people are great and the atmosphere was great. I also visited the museums which were very fascinating.
I lived in London for 6 months and it is absolutely amazing. I am going back in two weeks for a two week vacation, to see stuff I hadn't been able to see during my 6 month stay there. It is absolutely amazing- the freedom to wear and look the way you want withut being criticised or judged. See Cornwall as well in the UK, not just London. It is just as fabulous and the scenery at Tintagel, the castle of King Arthur is fantastic. London has the best pizza,alcohol,sushi...art museums. And best fashion! America seems to get their fashion like a year later....
I have never travalled but if one time could be able, London would take the first chance. I love the place place and I have hope of going there one time one. I stay in Uganda but of Rwandese origin. Am in Uganda bcoz of 1994 Rwandese genocide.
London is very cool country. I think the best food in London is fish and chips. Each year I go its gets better and better. Everybody should go to London.
This is a list of things to do, not trip. To enjoy London, I suggest picing two, maybe three of these things a day. Travel should not burn one out, but allow one to be on the ground with the culture and people of the place you are going. Arrange the sites with a map so you can walk from site to site, eating, flirting and playing along the way.
I love London. Been there 8 times and can't wait to go back. I've lived in Germany, so it was very easy to go to London. It is a little more difficult now that I am in the States. But I know I will go back one day. I have seen it all, from Buckingham Palace to Madame Tussaud, the Tower and Kensington Palace and more, but there is always something to do over there. I also liked Windsor, a small but beautiful little place.
I love London. I lived there for 6 years back in the late 70's and early 80's. I have been back several times since I moved to the US, but have not been there in the last 10 years. I am finally making a trip over there this year, and can't wait to get there. I am sure it has changed a lot in the past 10 years, definitely looking forward to it.
Good tips, but this is not the soul of the thing.
