We wish to take our two year old daughter to Story Land. Any suggestions for Activities, Lodging, what to do, etc.? Thank you in advance.

Hampton Suites has a new indoor water park that is great for a two year old. They give you breakfast as well as a nice place to stay. Nice park downtown with slides and swings. Great place to be in the summer. Enjoy. Joel P.

The Storybook is a great place to stay, it's right around the corner from Storyland!! They have indoor and outdoor pools (indoor was heated) and a wading pool for the young ones (but my 9 year old loved that one too!) The kids got up early and played in the playground while we got ready! We decided to extend our stay because it was so relaxing. We had a room with a patio and watch the kids play and also just had some grown up time while the kids fell asleep. It was one of the more enjoyable trips we've had with the kids. Plus there are restaurants really close by...we like the Spagetti Shed, Red Fox and Bea's for breakfast!

Storyland is great, there are also some easy hikes for the kids. We drove up Cathedral Ledge for a great view that was fenced in for safety, we also walked to Diana's Baths, beautiful waterfalls, off Westside road. Flat hike and easy for the kids! We stayed at the Storybook too, it is out of the major traffic of North Conway, plus Dunkin Donuts, grocery store and other stuff right there. Our room had a micro and fridge so we just bought some pre-prepared stuff and had a picnic by the playground. Santa's Village isn't too far, and there are some great mini golf, children's musuem, weather museum, etc., in North Conway.

Storyland is such a wonderful place to take your kids! In my mind it is better (And cheaper - which is a factor when I go on vacation) then Disneyland. I would highly recommend Storyland.

Whatever you do stay NORTH of NORTH CONWAY! It can take an hour to get back to your hotel at the end of the day if you are staying North of Storyland. Stay in Jackson, Bartlet or Glen. Not only will you be only minutes away from your hotel but you will avoid all the traffic. And, many of the hotels have directions so that you can avoid going through North Conway.

Also, you have to try the Red Fox Bar and Grille for dinner. It is the best family friendly restaurant in NH! And, located only two minutes away from Storyland in Jackson.

My family was flying in for a wedding in Jackson New Hampshire. They stayed at the Christmas Farm Inn and Spa (DO NOT GO HERE THE PLACE IS A DUMP! They are under new ownership and do not care about their guests...the owners and managers didn't even bother showing up to take care of the wedding I was going to and the fired their wedding planner...so noone was doing anything). So stay elsewhere...check trip adisor for the best place to stay in Jackson.

Also, take the kids to Glen Ellis Falls, Jackson Falls, and Diana's Baths. All three places are located only about 10 minutes from Storyland/Jackson.

And remember the after three rule! Go in after three o'clock and get FREE passes for the next day (Or any day)!
