I would like to visit Cooperstown, NY. I have relatives there that I have not been able to visit for over seven years. I would love to stay at the Otesaga Hotel. I would also love to take my father golfing at the fabulous Leatherstoking golf course which is adjacent to the hotel and owned by the same company. It would be great to take the family to the hotel to eat and enjoy the wonderful view of Otsego Lake with a tour guided boat ride (this lake is sometimes reffered to as Glimmerglass Lake). I would also love to take the family to nearby Howes Caverns to enjoy their underground bat caverns of beautiful stalagtites and stalagmites.

Cooperstown is a very scenic small town with a lot of sights and things to enjoy for the entire family. Otsego Lake offers several types of water recreation without all the pollution of larger cities. Baseball fans love the Hall of Fame and the visit ball players and inducties.

The Otesaga Hotel deserves to be a five star hotel. The staff cateres to every customers desire. The hotel has an excellent view overlooking Otsego Lake and the food is high class too. The adjacent golf course is very professional and will challenge all golfers at every level. This is the best place to stay if one can afford the price.

Cooperstown offers guided boat tours of the prisitine and clean Otsego Lake (nicknamed "Glimmerglass Lake" by famed author James Fenimore Cooper). There are several museums which are great for touring too, such as Hyde Hall, The Baseball Hall of Fame, and the Farmer's Museum.

Cooperstown offers many things to do that a larger city would be challenged to keep up with. Cooperstown is a small village with a clean and beautiful lake and a state park at the opposite end, a professionally kept golf course, the baseball hall of fame, several measuems, and has the famed Doubleday Baseball Field. Cooperstown looks like a city set in the early fifties. It is clean and the residents are extremely friendly and trustworthy. Crime is practically nonexistent here which helps for an enjoyable visit.
