Not very fancy but for USD17 a day what can you complain right? The bed is comfy and the toilet facilities are alright. Had a few good nights rest there. No complains.
Eh, this place serves dinner with local dances of the hill tribe people. It's oni 320 baht per person. We were sitting at the elevated platform right next to the stage. For the first time we sat so near without any heads blocking us. There are 2 segments, one while inside the dining area and another you have to take a short walk to another side. Must go.
This is the normal night bazaar. It's more like Petaling Street for us and you have to bargain to get the right price. It's better to go for the Sunday night market. The biggest and best in Chiang Mai. Trust me on this.
We took a 1 day trip for this National Park. About 2 hours drive from the city. Quite a pleasant trip compared to Chiang Rai. It was cooling too on the higher parts of the mountain. The whole trip also gave us insight to the history of Thailand and the old kingdom
