Go to Mali, Africa. Land in Bamako, Mali. Travel to Mopti, Mali or further down the Niger River to be able to meet the Songhai people group. Meet missionaries working with the Songhai. (Meet Arlyss ;p)
I am planning a Tip to Africa this July-August, for a total of about 23 days. Expect to start in Nairobi, immediately leave for Kigali, Rwanda, to see the mountain gorillas [tickets in hand for two continuous days] back to Kigali before about a week in Tanzania--perhaps visit a game park or two--then on to Zanzibar for 3 nights; Onward to Gabarone, Botswana, on semi-official duties. I would love to visit the Dogon culture and Timbuktu. All comments and advice would be appreciated.
