White Mountains

The best way to do the White Mountains is finding a hotel that is central so you know you'll have a place to stay, as things get booked up so quickly. Nothing is more then an hour from Glen. We always stay at the Storybook Motel...maybe it's Storybook Resort. They have the indoor/outdoor pool, a toddler pool, nice decks to relax on and a playground and tennis courts! We like staying in Woodside where our patio looks over a grassy, tree area and towards the front of the resort. We feel like we've gotten "away." From there we do Storyland, which is around the corner from there, we did the Falls in Jackson and went up the tram at Wildcat, we went to Santa's village - about 50 mins away, and we went up Mt. Washington. The gal at the desk told us about a short-cut to get into North Conway and avoid the traffic....that was huge!! You'll have to stay there to find out the secret...we aren't giving it away. Anyway, we do the Wht Mtns' every year and can't wait to come back!
