I have been searching for the best price for flight out from Chicago)ORD to Chennai (MAA), with a stopover at Delhi(DEL). The first Yahoo search yielded a $4,800 roundtrip fare. Since I love to save money while having fun, I used the Yahoo's new FARECHASER. Guess what!!! I receievd two offers (Cheapteckets.com $1,405 and Orbitz.com $1,409) with a decent schedule. That is a saving of whopping $3,400 (Approx.) I bet, I can negotiate a stopover at Delhi for five days ( which will give me opportunity to include the optional Delhi-Agra-Jaipur exploration also. Our first stay and stop will be at the five-satr Hotel Ashoka named after the Illistrious Emporer of India. We will stay here for three nights. First night is for shaking off the jetlag and to become familiar with Chennai town. The hotel is close to the train station and is not far from the beach. Since I enjoy walking, these distances are fun distances. The second and thrid day will be for exploring nearby atatractions.
