This hotel was ok but I would stay at the River Inn downtown it is right next door to where the ballon people are.

Room was clean. The continential breakfast was danish and coffee. There is no free internet. It is close to the beach that was a plus.

This restuarant had Great Food
It was reasonable too. I had LOBSTER for 14.00

This was a great hotel. This is a great place to get away for a couple. My husband and I went down the 400 foot trail to the beach. The ad for the hotel is right, It is not for the sqimish. I am 52 years old and I am in good shape I thought but I slid down on the way down and I CRAWLED back up the cliff side but my husband and I laughed at each other and it was a great time he is 67 years old and we both like to think we are in good shape but this cliff trail is for the young. If you get down there ,,there is no way to get back up except if you get yourself back up to the top.
Our 16 year old granddaughter said she would not even try it.

This is a great hotel to stgay in it is within walking distance of so much. Be ready to walk a lot in San Fran. If you are not ready to walk you don't want to stay downtown.

I walked the Golden Gate Bridge and it took me about 40 minutes to walk from one side to the other. I did not stop to take pictures on the way over I waited until I was on the way back. That is a site to take in. It is so beautiful with a little fog. It was beautiful that day. We waited until about 2:00 to take the walk. We parked on the Sasalito Side. One thing to remember is if you are on the bridge at 3:00 it will take you a lot longer to get anywhere after you leave. The traffic is so HEAVY in the afternoon.

This is a site you will want to see if you are in SF. My daughter drove me down that street once before sol this time I told my husband I wanted to walk down on the steps. I wanted to be able to take pictures this time. I was so nervous the first time. My daughter told my sister not to tell me she was going to drive down that street it was going to be a surprise. She knew I would be so nervous I would not let her drive it. It is a beautiful narrow narrow street.

This is well worth doing. Ride the outside rails
