I had the misfortune to be given a trip to Paradiscus Punta Cana. It was a nightmare. The food was so so and the service was bad. The room was crapy to say the least and the shower was 18" wide. The ceilings leaked and when I asked to be moved all I got was laughter from the night clerk. It seemed as if everyone was out for money, from the cabbies to the attendants.

In the DR I recommend the Plaza REal Hotel it is cheap and nice and you get the essence of the DR cable, a frig,big bathroom, big bed, room service, Juan Dolio is beautiful and the sea is viewed from your room..I loved it..
