Great trip notes. I used to live in Seattle up until two years ago. I now live in St Petersburg, FL. I dearly miss Seattle and your trip made me home sick. But wait, it's rainy season there and now it's in the low 70's here in Florida. I'll take the later of the two weather conditions.

good review for me, we are planing a trip there next year.

I live in Seattle myself, and right now it is ppuring down rain outside, and we actually broke the record for the wettest November ever, and I think we also broke the record for the wettest month ever (I haven't watched the news lately, but I'm pretty sure we broke that record) and I wanted to read something optimistic about Seattle to remind myself why I still live here. I loved your description of the underground tour, which I actually did myself when some friends came in from out of town. Hope you guys had fun!

Oh wow. Comments! I'd forgotten all about this and really need to finish updating it. It was a cool trip!

I like your journal. sounds like you had fun. How did you like Quinalt? I'm taking my parents on a trip through Seattle and will try your resturant suggestions, especially Spuds.

YUP, i'm planning to go up in May and check it out for the first time..actually, my first trip out of honolulu to anywhere.. and i want to check out some hot spots. especially, those restaurants..heard about that seafood mall or something of that kind. wanna check it out and have lunch there. any suggestions on my wallet suggestions, lol. just enough to get me going for another round later on..heard so much about Spuds, so I think I'll check it out.. and thank you for the story..enjoyed it.

Sounds awesome!! I actually want to move there someday... Thanks for your review!!!

Thanks for the comments. I'm sorry I've not finished the journal entries. I keep on forgetting about this.

Kimnelle - We loved Quinalt. My husband and I felt like we were at that hotel in The Shining (without the ghosts and madman of course).

skildoc - The restaurants at the waterfront and Pikes market were ok. They are pricey though - as is most of Seattle.
