I have always wanted to go to Ireland and now it looks like I might get there next year. I loved the photos and the trip information that you posted. It is such a help to have an idea of where to go and what to see that didn't come from a travel agent. I can hardly wait and will be taking your trip info with me.
I visited over the summer and it was absolutely amazing. One place that this trip planner does not mention is Galway. I spent most of my trip there and it was absolutely beautiful. I definitely recommend it.
U r vary fortunate 2 beable to have gone on that trip! I would love 2 have been able 2 go on such a trip, just 2 even chk out my heritage an ancestors that r from Ireland!! I AM JEALOUSE!!
Don't forget to visit the North of Ireland..Belfast is a bustling city, with lots of great shopping. The Giants Causeway,Bushmills Distillery.the Fermanagh Lakes and the Marina at Bangor are all great places to see.
After reading your trip blog to me it sounded like you didn't really enjoy your trip to Ireland at all! I've gone there twice now and loved EVERY minute of it. I did A LOT of what you two had done and seen. I think you need to express a better appreciation towards this ancient piece of land and history.
having been to ireland several times i have learned a few things by making mistakes. there is so much to see and do it might be best to pick a region like dublin or the southwest for example and make an itinerary for that area rather than trying to take in a large portion of the country. seriously, there is a lot of stuff in that little country. plus, you really need to spend time with the irish, they are truly wonderful. oh, don't forget northern ireland.
