we stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Canal Park, the best location nearest to the lift bridge. I loved the pool being across from the lobby. The front porch/gazebo sitting area was grandiose. The back view facing Lake Superior, from our room was spectacular. We could see the ships coming in and had a great canal view. The rooms were very well equipped and I was glad to see the in bathroom sink vs. outside the bathroom. The room was spacious. The continental breakfast was great and we had a wonderful lake view there as well. This is the only place I'd ever want to go back and stay in Duluth--it's perfect.
